Scrap Africa October challenge

Hello my crafty friends! ! ! Today I have some great news to share! From now and then I am a member of Scrap Africa family . I am thrilled to be a member of this talented team!!!!!
So...This month we have a wintery moodboard for you to be inspired and you surely have to see the DT members ' creations for this challenge.
My take on this moodboard is a mixed media page. I was inspired by the trees and wintery colours so I used some dark blues and greens to make my mixed media. .. The photo is from Pinterest. No...this beautiful lady is not me... lol.

I used 13arts papers and Finnabair metallic paints and pastes.

SNP new September challenge

Best Day ever Tag...

A small post to show you my first ever tag for the August Mini challenge of More Than Words and The challenge of 7 Dots Studio -Mettalics and Texture theme .

I used mixed media techniques once again...I 'm addicted to Mixed Media Lol.
I Used papers and stickers from Verano Azul Collection - 7 Dots ,some Prima Marketing flowers And Finnabair acrylic paints (Metallique Emerald Green , Deep Waters and Vintage Rose) .

All you need is love

One more mixed media page for 7 Dots studio Favourite quote challenge .
I love all the quotes about love. So I made this mixed media page with a loooot of texture with quotes about love. I used a lot of my stash, some Chipboard leftovers,  tulle ,13 arts pastes and black gesso for my backround and painted with Dylusions mists and Americana paints. I have also used some elements from a broken alarm clock to give more interest . I tried to give a rust effect on these elements by painting with several colours like purple and yellow.
At the end I decorated with stickers and elements from Vernon Azul collection.
All you need is love....

Beautiful smile...

A story behind this photo. A woman that didn't live her life. A woman that was always smiling.  That wanted to make a new family, a new life , but she didn't manage to do it. She was 27 when she got married with the love of her life. This photo was taken at 1977. She was so happy.... But.... she didn't know what to expect from her new "family" .
This woman was my mom's youngest sister . At 1978 was murdered by her mother in law. She was pregnant. .. She wanted to have a family. She wanted to keep her boy in her hands. But she didn't.  She was a teacher.  Her name ...Christina.  Like me.

Now you know the story of this picture. And why I am named Christina. That 's because of this woman.

Summertime. ..

Hello there to all of you!  It 's time for a challenge here in Scraps N Pieces (with a little delay ) and we have a summer turquoise moodboard for you to play and be free to make whatever project you want and interpret the way you like.
This challenge is open for two months July and  August and we hope you to find some time to play with us.
I made an art journal spread-I looooove my art journal - and I used a photo of my Summer of 2014  vacations , a favourite photo of mine.

 With this art journal spread I will also play with Scrapki-wyzwaniowo challenge - Sunlight theme. Here in Greece sun 's always bright but it remindsme of summer memories. Summer means sun here in Greece.

I will also participate in the challenge of Crafty Life challenge Summer theme . 
I will also play with the July challenge of 7 Dots studio. -Favourite quote. ..One of my favourites is :"Live the life you imagined" ... Yes we should live our lives as we have imagined. ... Every day... Every time ....

One person-Two faces...

Αυτόν τον μήνα έχω τη χαρά να φιλοξενούμαι από την ταλαντούχα παρέα του  Crafty Life ως guest και χαίρομαι πολύ γι'αυτο! Το θέμα για τον μήνα Απρίλιο είναι μονοχρωματικό με ελεύθερη χρήση του άσπρου ή μαύρου . Κι εγώ διάλεξα φυσικά ένα αγαπημένο για μένα χρώμα...Το Μωβ....

Πρόσφατα είχα μια συζήτηση με μια φίλη και βλέποντας αυτήν τη φωτογραφία στο Pinterest θεώρησα πως έπρεπε να αφιερώσω τη σελίδα μου στη διπλή φύση των ανθρώπων. Ανθρώποι που για κάποιους φαίνονται ιδανικοί ,αλλά για άλλους είναι παραδείγματα προς αποφυγή... Άνθρωποι που με κάποιους έλκονται και με άλλους απωθούνται ..Με μερικούς ταυτίζονται και με άλλους απέχουν μίλια.. Μήπως όλοι μας κάπως έτσι δεν είμαστε; 

Λάτρεψα τη φωτογραφία αυτή ,γιατί ο καθένας μπορεί να την ερμηνεύσει διαφορετικά. Η δική μου ερμηνεία , λοιπόν , η παραπάνω..... Και η σελίδα μου αυτή....

With this page I will play with Fabrica-Decor challenge and this beautiful moodboard....

I was inspired by the buttons (which I used) and sparkle of the picture (I used sparkle too) .
