Sketchabilities sketch #122

Hello there!!!We are at the end of the summer...(not in Greece yet...),August has almost passed and school period will start soon...Today is a new sketch day here at Sketchabilities blog and the talented DT membes have made beautiful pages, based on a new sketch , to inspire you....

Here is my take on the sketch #122...This is a mixed media page,again,based on techniques, I have recently  been taught by the workshop Pop N colours #1 from Shirel Studio....It's a page about my little princess...At this photo she s only four and a half months old ...."I Heart you" is the title....And hope you like my page...

This is a second post for today...

This time I will participate at two more challenges with my LO below...

Scrap Africa's challenge  is about travelling and I used a photo from my last year's vacations where I was really enjoying good times with my girls....In this photo I hold one of my daughters....my little one...

Life paper scrapbook has a beautiful moodboard to inspire us,too.

I was inspired by the buttons' colours , so I used them in my page...

Dad and me

Hello bloggers and crafters!!!!
Vacations is almost over and we 're back home,so it 's time for some creative time....Today I want to play with Scrap Around The world challenge and Once upon a Sketch challenge too....So , I made a page with some of the colours of Scrap Around The World August moodboard ,but using the sketch and the journaling theme of once Upon a sketch challenge blog...

It's a Special LO for me this time....I made a page about me and my father,the very first page about him....It's a LO expressing my love for him and my feelings about what he have made for us,his six children.... He 's 76 and I  thank God he's healthy and I pray he has a biiiig healthy life beside us......So, that's my mixed media page for today,....

My journaling is in Greek and says: "You've done so much for us and you are always there helping us....You're the best dad "

I used some colours from the moodboard and the bobbins I can see in the moodboard...I used yellow,tyrquise,red,and light blue....i have also used some black colour...

Guest Designer στο Scraps 'N Pieces

Σήμερα έχω ιδιαίτερη χαρά ,καθώς ειμαι καλεσμένη της φοβερής ομάδας του Scraps'N Pieces challenge blog για το μηνα Αύγουστο! Προγραμματισμένη ανάρτηση διαβάζετε,αφου αυτήν την ώρα λογικά απολαμβάνω τις διακοπούλες μου με τα κοριτσάκια μου, και η προκληση του μήνα Αυγούστου έχει άμεση σχέση με ταξιδάκια...Οπότε είμαστε κυριολεκτικά μέσα στο κλίμα ,όπως καταλαβαίνετε!

Η φωτογραφία έμπνευσης , λοιπόν , η παρακάτω!

Βλέποντάς τη ,μου ρθε αμέσως στο μυαλό το τελευταιο μας ταξίδι στο Βερολίνο...Και μάλιστα μια συγκεκριμένη φωτογραφία που είχα βγάλει εν ώρα πτησης..Σας έχω πει ποσο φοβάμαι τα αεροπλάνα ; Πολύ...Αλλά η αγάπη μου για τα ταξίδια ξεπερνα το φόβο μου και πλέον έχω αρχίσει και τολμώ να κοιτάζω και έξω από το παραθυράκι...Αυτο που έβλεπα κατα την πτηση ,λοιπον, αυτο ήθελα να σκραπάρω...Η σελίδα ,που δημιούργησα,ειναι αυτη...

 

Αρχικά πειραματιζόμουν με τα καινουρια μου Distress Stains ,τα οποια πρωτη φορά χρησιμοποιουσα...¨αγαπώ τα splashes αλλά δεν έχω καταφέρει να φτιάξω ποτε,οποτε τωρα ηταν η ευκαιρία...Το backround εντελως τυχαιο...Χρησιμοποίησα και rub-ons σποραδικά στο χαρτί μου και άρχισα να φτιάχνω layers από χαρτια... Επειδή μου αρέσει να ανακυκλώνω τα υλικά μου,χρησιμοποίησα και το boarding pass μου,για να είναι περισσότερο ταξιδιάρικη η σελίδα μου...Πολλά scraps,κομμάτια σελίδων βιβλίου,ελάχιστα διακοσμήτικά,εκ των οποίων το ένα ειναι καπάκι από μπυρα με ένα flair μεσα,κλωστη,κυριολεκτικά ανακυκλώνουμε στο scrapbooking , οπως βλέπετε!

Αυτή ήταν η σύνθεσή μου για σήμερα!!!Ελπίζω να σας άρεσε και να βοήθησα να εμπνευστείτε!!!!

Sketchabilities DT Reveal #120

Hello bloggers!!!With today's sketch this term at Sketchabilities comes to an end...I need to thank Karan for giving me the opportunity to meet so many talented ladies with the same love about creating.I really met so much talent in this team.With some of them i will continue designing for Sketchabilities for a second term but some of them I hope to see again!!!It was really nice to meet you ladies!!!!!

A blog Hop with a difference!

Today is my turn to introduce myself , as I take part in a blog hop with a difference!!!It's not a usual blog hop ,cause this time I must tell a few words about myself and some of my favourite crafters..
You are here from Athanasia's blog ...Athanasia is a super talented Greek girl ,who makes beautiful pages full of colours and stamps,that catch your eye,and stunning art-journaling pages...Her style is special so you have to visit her blog to see her awesome work!
Now,it's time for answering some questions about myself,as a part of the blog hop...

                                            What am I working on right now? 

These days are difficult days for me ,cause I work on a lot of projects...I am working on some mini albums ,photo albums and of course on Layouts for the current DT I am on.I am on Sketchabilities challenge blog so the last project i worked on was the LO for the next challenge...Here is a sneek peek of my page...  

                                 How long does it take to create a project?

It depends on the mood of the day...I usually need some "days" to create,cause i rarely concentrate on my project for more than two hours a day...I 'm a mother of two baby girls so it's really difficult for me to stay on my craft room alone and without noise.Anyway, I think that for a project,like a mixed media page,I need some hours to end up, usually three or four hours .
                                               
                             What are my fave things I Love to create with at the moment?
     
Lately I am  totally addicted to mediums ,gesso, and mists ,paints...Generally everything that can make my hands dirty...You can see some dirty examples on my mixed media LO's...

                                               How does my creative process work?

I don't follow a standard way to create my project...I often find my picture first and then I find my embellies I want to use(but there were some times that I chose my picture ,after I had made my backround).Then I start making my backround,and I finally decorate my page...My embelishments sometimes come from my house,my kitchen or everywhere I see something and feel that suits on my page... 


                                                       How do I become inspired?

Most of the times I scrap about my girls and my family in general.My girls are often my inspiration..But lately I also scrap about my friends,or things that make me happy...
                                                       What is my signature style?
I don't think I have a current style...I like trying new techniques and styles but I always I have in mind that i want my photo be the central part of my page and not been hidden by the embelishments...The most of my pages are made with mixed media techniques , but lately I love "clean and simple" style and I try this when I am in a mood...
